This policy explains what personal data we collect through garageflow.co.uk, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Who we are

The data controller is AUTOMAR MOTORSPORT SRL, registered in Ocna Șugatag, Maramureș county, Romania, tax ID (CUI) 47577219, trade registry no. J2023000214244 — the company that builds and operates the Garageflow platform. You can reach us anytime at contact@garageflow.ro.

What data we collect

We only collect the data you give us directly through the forms on this site:

  • Registration form: company name, your name, email address, password, and optionally phone, city, VAT number and company number. These are needed to create your Garageflow account.
  • Newsletter signup: your email address.
  • Demo booking (Cal.com): the name and email you enter in the scheduling calendar.
  • Direct communication: whatever you send us by email or WhatsApp.

Why we use it (legal bases)

  • Creating and managing your Garageflow account — performance of a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / UK GDPR).
  • Sending the newsletter — your consent (art. 6(1)(a)); you can unsubscribe anytime from any email.
  • Replying to your messages — our legitimate interest in answering you (art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Invoicing and accounting obligations once you become a customer (art. 6(1)(c)).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers who help us operate the service, strictly within their role:

  • The Garageflow platform (api.garageflow.ro) — hosting your account.
  • Kit (ConvertKit) — sending the newsletter; data may be processed in the US under standard contractual clauses.
  • Cal.com — demo scheduling.
  • Stripe — payment processing, once you become a paying customer.

How long we keep it

Account data: for as long as the account exists, plus the retention period required by tax law for billing records. Newsletter email: until you unsubscribe. Unactivated account requests may be deleted after 90 days.

Your rights

Under GDPR / UK GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, plus the right to withdraw consent at any time. Write to contact@garageflow.ro and we will reply within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your supervisory authority (in Romania: ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro; in the UK: the ICO, ico.org.uk).

Security

The site and platform use encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed, and access to data is limited to staff who need it.
